Investigations: Special Investigations: Law Enforcement Support
NASS is frequently called upon by various federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies to assist with surveillance and undercover investigations. Many agencies call upon NASS to provide the appropriate resources for these types of investigations because they do not have the personnel or specialized equipment. Our investigators are former law enforcement and department of defense investigators who are experienced in all areas of law enforcement, including homicide, internal affairs, theft, and drug investigations. We are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including body wires, repeater systems, generation III night vision devices, and high-8 digital video cameras and recorders. In support of these investigations, NASS investigators do not work independently, but in conjunction with the law enforcement entity.

NASS recently assisted the Menifee County Sheriff's Department and the Kentucky State Police with surveillance and investigative services. Working in rural and difficult terrain, our investigation support resulted in the execution of seven simultaneous search warrants, seizure of over $250,000 of marijuana, forfeiture proceeding against seven properties, and multiple felony indictments.
